Cardiac Arrest at Secret Lake — Saturday, September 19th, 2026, 26-478, Op #49

On Saturday, September 19th, at 1500 hours, the Team was paged for a report of a possible cardiac arrest at Secret Lake, off of Highway 108. Marine Corps Fire (MWTCFD), Mono County Medic 1, and CHP H42 also responded. While en route, SAR units were advised to stage across the MWTC Base. The first SAR units arrived at 1636 hours, and at 1642 hours, MWTCFD medics advised that the patient was pronounced deceased. SAR personnel remained staged until H42 advised they would transport the subject. SAR units were released at 1734.

The operation was concluded at 1902 hours.
