Assist Inyo SAR, Medic 3, and Long Valley Fire with 77-year-old subject with possible cardiac issues, near Mack Lake in the Little Lakes Valley.

At 1614 hours, the Team was called for a mutual aid request from the Inyo County Sheriff’s Office (ICSO) regarding a 77-year-old male in medical distress near Long Lake in the Rock Creek drainage.

Shortly after the Team arrived at the trailhead, paramedics from Medic 3 reported that CPR was in progress on the subject.

A hasty team departed the trailhead, and arrived on scene approximately 10 minutes later. Shortly thereafter the subject was determined to be deceased.

The Team worked to transport the remains to the trailhead, where custody was transferred to the Inyo County Sheriff’s Office. The operation terminated at 2113 hours.
